25-26-27 AUGUST 2015, for three days, nearly 230 Japanese and international brands
gathered to present a multitude of different styles, showing off only their best at Playtime Tokyo.
Fashion, Decor, Design, Layette and Toys, the trade fair presented a 360° selection of the children’s universe, set up to highlight the complementarities between the products as well as to reflect a strong and balanced offer for buyers.
Attracted by the depth and quality of the offer, 2667 professional visitors made the trip to attend the show, for an exceptional increase of 20,2% over the equivalent edition of August 2014. A new record that marks a turning point for the show, as this is the first time that a summer show attracted more visitors than the preceding winter show (+9,7% over February 2015). And, even though the visitors were essentially from Japan, the number of foreign visitors jumped by +37% over the August 2014 show.
The latest trends were explored by our trendsetter Julie Malait in a mini conference that was filmed and presented at the entrance to the show – watch the video on the Playtime Tokyo website.
Next edition of Playtime Tokyo from February 23rd to 25th, 2016 for the presentation of autumn/winter 2016-17 collections.
